Dresses have long since been a staple part of any woman’s wardrobe, and naturally she will require a dress for every occasion. From smart, fitted dresses which can be worn in the office to informal jumper dresses that may be worn over leggings, there are many different dresses to pick from. For those interested in something a bit more glamorous, they may decide to check out evening style dresses for special occasions like weddings, parties or even a prom. Short prom dresses are certainly on trend for all young ladies who go to proms. In days gone by, long gowns were generally worn for proms, but these days women are usually a little more daring and willing to try different styles with regards to the cut and the material. Short prom dresses are fun and funky and they don’t need to have a short hem all around the circumference of the dress, alternatively it may be long at the back and short at the front to be a little different. A bandage dress is essentially an exceptionally snugly fitted dress that is crafted from a stretch fabric. It seems this style of dress can only be worn by the super-toned, since the tightly fitting layers hug every curve of the body meaning that little is left to the imagination! Bandage dresses have been in existence for a few years, although presently dresses with blocks of colours or very vibrant colours are favoured by many celebs in the world of fashion. Although bandage dresses are characteristically very tight round the stomach and back area, the shoulder styles will vary. For women that want to show off their nicely toned shoulders they might opt for a strapless dress, whereas those females with a fuller chest may wish to accentuate their figure with a flattering v-neck or halter neck. The dresses may also be designed to have merely one shoulder strap or many celebrities select a backless dress. When choosing a brand new dress it's usually best to try it on together with the footwear that'll be worn on the event to be sure the length is suitable. And naturally, don’t forget to accessorise!
